Delfina Suárez, Daughter of Luis Suarez and Sofía Balbi

If there is one thing that is guaranteed, it’s that Delfina Suarez was conceived out of love. Her father, soccer star Luis Suarez, and mother, Sofía Balbi, have a love story fit for a movie. Despite dating since the age of 15, Balbi’s family left Uruguay for Barcelona.

Sofía leaving made Luis more determined to succeed at football to follow his true love to Europe. They married in 2009 and had Delfina the following year. They have since had two more sons. Luis has Delfina’s name tattooed on his wrist, which he kisses every time he scores a goal.
