The Jungle Book (1967)

Growing up wouldn’t be fun if it wasn’t for Mowgli, right? Released on October 18, 1967, The Jungle Book is based on one of Rudyard Kipling’s books. Actor Bruce Reitherman lent his voice to Mowgli at that time, and the movie made a box office collection of $141.8 million along with an adjusted domestic gross collection of $632.1 million.
Its sequel, The Jungle Book 2, was released on February 14, 2003, and then another new-age version was released in 2016. Neel Sethi, the actor who played Mowgli in the 2016 version of the movie, will next be seen in The Jungle Book 2 sequel in 2022.
