Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

Released on December 18, 2015, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is a space opera directed, co-written, and produced by J. J. Abrams. The movie was released 32 years after its prequel, Return of the Jedi. It is the first part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy. The movie featured many costumes that were designed by designer Michael Kaplan.
After its release, it became the highest-grossing film in North America, and also the highest-grossing movie of 2015. It made a box office collection of $974.1 million. Next in the series is the movie The Rogue Squadron. It will be directed by Patty Jenkins and is set to release in 2023.
