The Sting (1973)

One of the most interesting storylines of the 70s, The Sting is directed by George Roy Hill. The plot revolves around two swindlers trying to con a crime lord named Doyle Lonnegan. Paul Newman and Robert Redford portray the swindler’s character while Robert Shaw is the crime lord. Written by David S. Ward, the movie was released on December 25, 1973.
It made quite a lot of money with a box office collection of $803.1 million. As for the lead actors, on December 11, 2020, Robert Redford announced that he would be selling his Sundance Mountain resort.
