Wolfgang Petry, 70 years old

Wolfgang “Wolle” Petry has written a number of popular hits in his career as a musician. His most famous songs include “Der Himmel brennt” (1982) and “Weiß der Geier” (1998). The man from Cologne was also known for the countless friendship bracelets he wore on his wrist. But in 2002 he cut the tapes and had them auctioned off for a good cause. In the past few years, Wolle had calmed down a bit (his last album “Right Now” was released in 2018), but he was back in September 2021 with a new record “Auf das Leben”. His fans must have missed the singer a lot because the album made it to #2 on the charts.
