Hans Herrmann, 93 years old

At his peak, Hans Herrmann was known as “Hans im Glück”. The motor sportsman began his career in the 1950s and became one of the most well-known racing drivers of his time. He is one of the last few survivors of historic races such as the “Mille Miglia” and as a Formula 1 driver he has been able to prove his skills over the course of his long career. Born in Stuttgart, he competed for Porsche at the beginning of his career until he later drove for Mercedes. The now 93-year-old made a name for himself primarily as a long-distance driver. Herrmann has of course long since retired.
