Norbert Haug, 68 years old

The journalist Norbert Friedrich Haug became particularly well known as head of motorsport at Mercedes-Benz – a role he held for over 22 years from 1990. He had managed to get Mercedes-Benz back into Formula 1 after they hadn’t competed in that category for many years. Previously, he had mainly worked as a sports journalist and was, for example, editor-in-chief of “sport auto” or “auto motor und sport”. Today he is 68 years old and has been married for many years. He also has a daughter and now works as a DTM expert at ARD and as a program manager at the Paravan Technology Group.
