The teenage film The Blue Lagoon was the breakthrough film starring Brooke Shields. She truly got both sexes smitten with this, as her partner was Christopher Atkins, also a treat for the eyes. However, she got the negative Golden Raspberry award because her critics were less convinced of her performance. Still, she didn’t let that discourage her. She may never have made it into a character role with her brown hair, charisma, big girly eyes and bright smile.
