The song 99 Luftballons by Nena was the song in 1983. However, in 2016 it is considered more of a relic of the past. Throughout the ’90s, the solo singer continued to successfully release her music. With Nena feat. Nena, she made her big comeback on the German charts in 2002. The song was one of the biggest hits by the original band at the time. Despite her withdrawal from the international music scene, Nena has retained her cultural relevance and musical success. Nowadays you can see her mainly in the music show The Voice of Germany as a juror.
