Bob McGrath, 87 years

Bob Johnson certainly comes to the fore when thinking of the human actors behind the children’s show Sesame Street. He is one of the pioneering characters in the long-running educational television series. Actor and singer Bob McGrath played this character. He has sung all his life and was the talent that suited Sesame Street perfectly. He was also a member of the University of Michigan’s male glee club at college. His big break came with his role on the TV sing-along series Sing Along with Mitch and The Gang. He was no more in the 47th season of Sesame Street.
