Herbert Koefer, 99 years old

One could almost say that Herbert Köfer has had the longest acting career in Germany. Because he is 99 years old today and has worked in more than 300 unbelievable productions in his career. Someone has to copy him first. As early as 1954 he was the first news speaker at “Aktuelle Kamera”.

But not only that, he stood in front of the camera for the very first broadcast by Deutscher Rundfunk back in 1952 and also for the last broadcast in 1991. Every viewer in Germany will have seen him in one of his roles. Today, however, he is retired, because at the age of 99, being an actress will definitely not be that easy anymore.
