Bärbel Schäfer, 56 years old

Schäfer is a German TV producer and presenter. She received guests in 1995 through her daily talk show Bärbel Schäfer, named after her, on the private broadcaster RTL. She moderated it 1,500 times by 2002. Bärbel Schäfer was also active behind the camera as a producer. In 1998 she founded her own production company called Couch Potatoes with her brother Martin Schäfer. She continues to be a frequent guest on the television show Things from the Roof. In the news channel N24, Schäfer returned to the talk show format in 2007 with her program “Bärbel Schäfer – Talk without Show”. She also had her own talk format on the public radio station hr3.
