Gitte Haenning, 74 years old

Gitte Hænning is a Danish pop singer. But already in the 60’s she started her career in the German Schlager scene, when she landed several German-language hits. These include, for example, “I want a cowboy for a man” and “Just a little luck”. Together with Rex Gildo, she soon conquered the German Schlager market and even represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest. Although she had previously competed for Denmark.

In her successful career she also received several offers for film roles and she accepted several of them. Even in recent years you could still see her as a musical actress on stage.
