Beach Outfits. Then vs. Now

This photo was taken in 1913 along the shoreline of San Jose, California. This is a simple beach photo with a bunch of vintage hats, and you can tell by the graininess of the image that it is quite old. However, there seems to be something odd here.

Something doesn’t quite fit in, and if you take a closer look, you will notice that the man in the middle is looking quite different compared to his peers. It almost seems like he traveled from the present in a T-shirt and shorts and was caught in the middle of a 1913 photo. Either that or he’s just very poorly dressed compared to his fancy friends.
