The English socialite Pippa Middleton is best known for being the sister of Kate Middleton, but she’s been enjoying some Royal-style perks herself. After all, she’s married to the former racing driver/Scottish heir James Matthews, who presented her with a stunning gift that’s worth over $350K.

What makes Middleton’s ring special is its eye-catching design: the centerpiece is an Asscher-cut gemstone surrounded by an octagonal halo of smaller gems. The Asscher cut was first invented by Joseph Asscher, a Royal jeweler from the Netherlands, in 1902. In 2021, Middleton and Matthews welcomed their first child to the world, the little Grace Elizabeth Jane.
