The American singing sensation Mariah Carey was married on two occasions, but the biggest ring she ever got to wear came from neither of her ex-husbands. This precious rock was a gift from the Australian businessman James Packer, whom Carey dated for about a year between 2015 and 2016.

Not long after announcing their marriage, Carey and Packer split up, proving that big gifts cannot replace real love. Years later, in 2018, Carey made a whopping $13.2 million when she decided to sell the 35-carat gem. Hopefully, Packer’s enterprises are still making him tons of money, and he was able to get over the million-dollar fiasco.
