Reality: “I’ve Just Lost $50”

The brochure mentioned a casino, but it takes you some time to find it. It’s strangely quiet and looks a lot like your old high school cafeteria. “This can’t be it,” you think. But then you see a dusty slot machine and an utterly bored dealer and realize that’s the cruise ship casino.

Even though the place is grim, you decide to play anyway. You take a few chips and hit the roulette. Two gambling moves in, you lost the entirety of your $50 in chips. Luckily, nobody’s around to judge you as you leave the casino a mere five minutes after starting to play.
