Reality: “Is There Room for One More?”

As the afternoon ends and the air gets colder, the whirlpool looks more and more appealing to you. You get there, only to realize there’s no room for you. You wait for a moment, drinking a cocktail. Someone leaves and you ask if you can get inside. Reluctantly, the people at the whirlpool tell you it’s okay.
The water isn’t as warm as expected, but the worst is that there’s no room for your legs. No matter what, your feet will be touching the body of a stranger, and that makes you feel uncomfortable. Five minutes in, you regret ever standing next to the whirlpool.
