This Is What a World Record Looks Like

Mankind’s ambition is neverending. But is cooking a record-breaking, 777-pound burger going too far? This beastly sandwich was made in the Summer of 2011, at the Alameda County Fair, in California. And in case you’re wondering, that’s a 110-pound bun over there!

The 777-pound burger beat a 590-pound Canadian sandwich made by a robot to officially become the world’s biggest burger. The included vegetables alone are impressive: 13 pounds of lettuce and 20 pounds of onions! It featured enough ketchup and mayo to fill up entire buckets and included a whopping 12 pounds of pickles.
