Table Salt

Table salt can make or break your dish! It is a staple ingredient in most Western and Eastern households. Naturally, the demand for salt is astronomical, and due to China’s booming business in trade, they have emerged as leading suppliers. However, you might want to skip on the Chinese salt if you care about your health.
It’s reported to contain monosodium glutamate, leading to headaches, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and numbness, among other adverse implications. Thus, if the salt on your table is from China, you might want to pass on sprinkling it on your food.
