The cod imported from China is not what you think. It is certainly not hygienic or healthy for you to consume, and there are several reasons for it. The first and foremost proven factor is that the cod found in China is stored in awfully unhealthy conditions that cause severe diseases.

If you visit China, you will usually see cod in tanks along with other fish, and that too with sewage and dirt all around. You really must not allow your family and friends to purchase or eat cod coming from China ever again.
