We purchase a couple of things from China but ensure it is a big no to shrimp among all seafood items. It will come to your surprise that after immense research and lab testing, it was revealed that the shrimp samples consisted of chloramphenicol, carcinogens, and other unwanted substances.

You may wonder what these complicated terms are all about. These very substances are also found in many illegal antibiotics found in the US. Nobody would want to ingest this, so we suggest you avoid shrimp coming from China because it is certainly not worth the risk!
