This stoic fan was also present at the 2018 FIFA World Cup to support her country, Iceland. Being one of the world’s smallest countries, Iceland has shown that size has nothing to do with showcasing raw talent in Football.

So after qualifying for the World Cup in 2018 for the first time in history, the team went on to break the record previously set by Trinidad and Tobago as the smallest nation ever to reach finals. In their first match against Argentina, Alfreð Finnbogason scored the first goal, precipitating a draw. But sadly, the team couldn’t match the prowess of Nigeria and Iceland in the accompanying matches.
