Betty White is an American actress with the longest career on television, more than any other entertainer. It is for this amazing feat that she is considered the pioneer of television. Betty also made an enormous contribution to women in showbiz, as she was the first woman to take charge of both sides of the camera. For her acting skills and a flair for comedy, Betty appeared in countless TV series and movies, with the most famous one being the TV show The Golden Girls. Betty had received numerous awards and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. In 2018, a Betty White: First Lady of Television documentary was released in her honor.
