Marilyn Monroe –  $7.25 Million, Los Angeles

This is reportedly the only house that the late blonde icon Marilyn Monroe owned. Monroe purchased the house in 1061 and it cost about $80K. She spent her last days on the secluded Los Angeles estate which provided all the privacy she needed. When the house hit the real estate market, it was sold quickly and for $7.25 million which is about $350Κ above the asking price. The house still features some of the details that Monroe chose.
