Third Wheel Woes

There’s an unwritten rule that third-wheeling can be the ultimate test of friendship. The chap in the picture has it written all over his face as he sits beside a pair of lovebirds locked in their own world. His gaze is fixed, perhaps pondering if his presence is more a convenience than a necessity.
Is it envy or just the awkward realization that he’s the solo act in a duet performance? Being the third wheel often means riding the waves of discomfort, dodging PDA, and the occasional pang of longing for something similar. Yet, it can sometimes strengthen friendships, assuming you don’t mind being the audience to someone else’s romance.
