Iron Man Match — Sudden Death

In 1996, Hart was up against Shawn Michaels in an Iron Man fight at WrestleMania. Hart managed to lock Michaels in a Sharpshooter with a minute left before the end of the match. However, the match ended up in a tie due to Michaels refusal to submit to the hold. It was decided for the fight to go into sudden death mode. Michaels landed a superkick on Hart which earned him the championship title. This was considered one of the greatest matches in Wrestlemania history. For certain, as well, Michaels’ bank balance was happy.
