Betrayal— Brothers’ Continuing Conflict

In the 1994 Royal Rumble match, Lex Luger and Hart fought side by side, with Luger going against Yokozuna and Bret with Owen. Hart lost the match with Owen but defeated Yokozuna, earning his second WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Hart ended up losing his title to Bob Backlund during a submission match when Bret’s mother’s towel was thrown in due to Owen’s actions. Diesel later defeated Backlund and won the championship title. Hart challenged Diesel for the title, and the match ended in a draw. Hart defeated Diesel in their rematch at WrestleMania XI.
