WWE Champion — Win After Win

Hart’s winning streak refused to falter as he gained the title of WWF World Heavyweight Champion after defeating Ric Flair in 1992. He successfully defended the title several times against Shawn Michaels at the 1992 Survival Series and once again at the 1993 Royal Rumble when he went up against Razor Ramon. He eventually lost the title in 1993 to Yokozuna at WrestleMania IX, the first time he participated in a WrestleMania event. Hulk Hogan had stepped out to assist Hart and resulted in him challenging Yokozuna, which ended up with Hogan winning the WWF World Heavyweight Championship for the fifth time.
