Working With Him — The Retirement of Hart

In December 1999, the tag team formed by Hart with Goldberg won the WCW Tag Team Championship. They later faced each other in Hart’s defending match for his WCW World Heavyweight Championship title. Hart was struck on the head with a thrust kick which resulted in a severe concussion. This, along with other concussions from other matches that Hart suspected he might be suffering from, led to his retiring from professional wrestling due to health concerns, in 2000. Hart later had expressed that Goldberg was a good man, but he had a tendency to cause injury to people that he worked with.
