1986 Pulse Litestar Autocycle – The Planemobile Of Your Dreams

The Pulse Litestar Autocycle was produced for over six years, from 1985 to 1990. And even though it got branded the vehicle of the future, there are only 347 of them out there. To us, it looks like a bunch of things rolled into one, such as a bullet, airplane, and spaceship.
Jim Bede is to thank for the earliest design, and he is also the man behind the Bede line of planes. It operates on two main automotive-type wheels and tires. It has an eight-inch outrigger wheel per flank, so it has four wheels, but it is classified as a three-wheel vehicle.
