Volkswagen Brubaker Box – A VW Fiberglass-Bodied Minivan

This was meant to be a minibus, but Curtis Brubaker had other ideas. The vehicle’s body was meant to fit onto the chassis of a Beetle, but after a deal with Volkswagen didn’t go through, Brubaker began buying completed Beetles to convert them.
He tried to limit the cost by selling off the excess pieces, but this didn’t turn out to be profitable. It means that Brubaker couldn’t make a profit and filed for bankruptcy in 1972. However, two entrepreneurs have revived it, and their names are Tomo Bullum and Dale Davis.
