983 Lincoln QuickSilver – One True Teardrop Sedan

The Lincoln Quicksilver is a collaborative work. The Lincoln automotive company fused with the Italian design house Carrozzeria Ghia to make one of the coolest-looking vehicles on this thread. Of course, it owes its stature to its teardrop design that made its debut in 1983 at the Geneva Auto Show.

The extra length of the vehicle allowed it to become a full-on sedan. It also has an extremely low drag efficiency. However, it did not prove to be popular among the masses and only remains in possession of private collectors.
