The Ever-Changing Brow Trend: Thin Eyebrows

Throughout history, beauty standards have constantly been evolving, and eyebrows have not been immune to this. During the Middle Ages, women considered their forehead to be their best feature and, therefore, heavily plucked their eyebrows. Fast forward to the ‘60s, and stars like Audrey Hepburn and Nina Simone popularized thick, natural brows.
In the ‘70s, thin eyebrows became all the rage again, with divas like Donna Summer and Diana Ross sporting them. This trend made a comeback in the 90s and early 21st century when thin brows were once again considered elegant and helped to make a face more symmetrical.
