Women Breaking Career Barriers

While some men stuck to old traditions in the social revolution, women were still encouraged to join the workforce. Although, they were only allowed to take on low-wage and low-skill positions. It was as if the world thought they could only handle secretarial work and travel bookings. Even modeling and nursing job ads frequently featured images of young and attractive females.
But this trend attracted many men to working-class women. And in the ‘70s, they started to break out of limiting roles, pursuing careers like law and medicine. This attitude change wasn’t just due to the liberation movement but also because of the changing economy.
