Kait Parker

Kait Parker, an atmospheric scientist from Texas, has spent the past ten years researching and writing about every significant storm to hit the United States. Additionally, she fills in for meteorologist Rob Marciano on “Good Morning America” on the weekends.

Nobody would ever believe that she is a meteorologist at first glance, but once you learn about her background and interests, there is no one else who would be a better fit for the position. Before The Weather Channel scooped Parker up to work for their weather apps, she first found work at smaller stations. She promotes climate change and even writes about it when she’s not covering the weather.
