Jennifer Delgado

Jennifer Delgado works as an on-camera meteorologist for the Weather Channel. She is a weather anchor and meteorologist for CNN International and CNN Domestic. She is a member of many organizations, including the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the National Weather Association (NWA).

In 2016, she drew public outrage when she asserted that children in Haiti were “eating deforested trees” during a weather forecast she gave during Hurricane Matthew. The remarks caused such widespread resentment that there was even talk of starting a petition to have her fired. She, however, left The Weather Channel in 2017 due to a personal issue.
