Sharran Alexander – 448 lbs – Sumo

Sharran Alexander is a professional sumo wrestler born in London in 1965. One of the few women recognized by the British Sumo Federation, she has won 4 gold medals in international competitions and represented the United Kingdom in the World Sumo Championship.  

But the most remarkable fact about Alexander remains her massive weight of 448 pounds! We know that sumo athletes are supposed to be heavy, but, nonetheless, we find this number very impressive. It’s no wonder Sharran Alexander was named the heaviest sportswoman in the world in the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records.
