Too Much Wine?

To pop the cork or to twist it off; that’s the question. According to NPR, twist-off sealings can be better for preserving white wine because they seal the bottle better, not allowing oxygen to go inside. Nonetheless, the same outlet states that corks are most commonly used in red wine bottles meant to be drunk young.
Oenological facts aside, this is what we know: if a bottle of wine is a twist-off, there is no sense in using a wine opener. The unlucky person in the picture was either having his/her first wine glass ever or drinking way more wine than advised.
