We don’t know if this life fail results from sheer distraction or pure illiteracy. The sign clearly states, “Small car only!” but whoever parked there wasn’t paying attention. To be fair, American vehicles tend to be very large, and Americans are more than accustomed to always finding a spot for their monstrous machines.

After all, according to Fast Company, there are eight parking spots per vehicle in the United States! American vehicles are also larger on average than European ones, perhaps because European roads are more cramped and fewer parking spots are available. Huge SUVs have been an American favorite since World War II.
