Hard Times

It was pretty standard for students like Shannon to take on side hustles like waitressing or working at coffee shops. Perhaps, the only downside about it was that it took time away from studying their lessons. Finding the right balance between making good grades and making it to work on time isn’t an easy task anyway!

Additionally, Shannon didn’t really have a choice since the economic situation was terrible at that time. The young woman was even appalled upon learning that her boss had an incredible law degree but never got to practice it due to the recession! It made Shannon realize she needed to work harder to reach her goals!
