Elizabeth Banks As Effie Trinket

It isn’t unheard of for actresses to dislike the movie costumes they have to wear, especially if the outfits are uncomfortable. But Elizabeth Banks ended up liking her elaborate and over-the-top ensembles as Effie Trinket. Yes, even the butterflies on her eyelashes! However, shooting while wearing her poofy dresses did have its snags.

Banks once talked about needing three women to help her go to the bathroom while still in character. Still, she expressed how these same costumes made working on the film fun for her. Too bad focusing on directing movies like 2019’s Charlie’s Angels means Banks won’t be able to wear those as often.
