Playing twins on screen is challenging, but playing characters of vastly different ages might be tougher. This is Us actress Mandy Moore can speak about the latter from experience as she portrays Rebecca Pearson from her early 20s to her 90s. And as you can imagine, that takes a lot of work to do well.

Moore, who’s in her 30s, needs to sit in the makeup chair for about six hours for the entire aging and de-aging process. That’s just scraping the surface of everything she had to do to play Rebecca. The Tangled voice star also pulled out all stops to convey the character’s emotional journey from aspiring singer to mother to a widow.
