Agrippina the Younger

Born to Germanicus and Agrippina the Elder, Agrippina the Younger was one of the most influential women in history books. She became the Roman empress in AD 49, following her marriage to Claudius, who was the emperor at the time. Her modernized digital portrait above shows us that she was a real catch.
Agrippina the Younger came from a family of political royalty. For example, her grandfather Augustus, older brother Caligula, and issue Nero were Roman Emperors. She is said to have helped Nero rise to power. However, she died in AD 59, aged 43.
