Caesar Augustus was born Gaius Octavius in 63 BC. He was not just any Roman empire but a very successful one mentioned in the history books.
Well, we guess that’s what happens when you’re raised by Julius Caesar. That’s right, Augustus was the adoptive son of the great Caesar. He founded the first stage of the Roman Empire, which is referred to as the Roman Principate. After ruling from 27 BC, Augustus passed away in AD 14.
