The deeper Hana followed the bear into the woods, the more unsettling things became. Strange sounds bounced between the trees, making the shadows feel alive. Every step brought a chill, and for a moment, she considered going back. That’s when her phone buzzed. The vet’s voice came through, distorted and choppy, but it was clear enough he wanted her to stop.
