Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – $200k

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – also known as AOC – is an American politician who serves as U.S. representative for New York’s 14th congressional district since 2019 for the democratic party. At 29, she became the youngest woman to be elected into the United States Congress. 

Cortez came from humble beginnings, growing up in Yorktown, N.Y. She enrolled at Boston University, starting her political calling as a student for U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy. The activist, who is worth $220k, made a statement when she attended her first Met Gala in 2021, wearing a white dress by Brother Vellies with the words “Tax the Rich” written on the back.
