Pete Buttigieg  – $250k

Pete Buttigieg is an American politician and former military officer who ran for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination. He graduated from Harvard College and Oxford University on a Rhodes Scholarship – one of the oldest and most prestigious. He earns most of his $250k income from politics and stock holdings. 

He was elected for Mayor of South Bend from 2012 to 2020, initially running for a Presidental candidacy before dropping of the race in March 2020 to support 46th President Joe Biden. He became a nominee for Secretary of Transportation and secured the position in February 2021, making him the first openly gay secretary in U.S. history.
