Bernie Sanders – $3 million

American politician and activist Bernie Sanders has been a U.S. State Senator for Vermont since 2007. His $3 million riches are made up of real estate properties in the U.S., government pensions, and book royalties, including his national best-selling “Where We Go From Here,” published in November 2018.
He ran for the Democratic nomination in 2016 and championed causes for free college tuition, LGBTQ rights, and environmental protection although front runner Hillary Clinton beat him. He ran again in 2020, gaining support from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but Biden picked up steam and secured the position instead.
