Mitt Romney – $300 million

Mitt Romney has accumulated a sizeable worth of $300 million during his work in politics and business ventures. He is a former Mormon missionary, Governor of Massachusetts, and as of 2019, the junior U.S. Senator for Utah. The statesman enrolled in Harvard and graduated cum laude from their law school and was in the top 5% in his business class. 

Romney’s fortune makes him one of the richest politicians in the United States. He obtained most of that when he formed a private equity firm, Bain Capital. The Republican sold his extravagant two-story San Diego home in June 2021 in an off-market deal worth $23.5 million.
